K is for Knowledge

knowl·edge
ˈnäləj

  1. facts, information, and skills acquired by a person through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject. Synonyms: understanding, comprehension, grasp, command, mastery; More

Knowledge in its most basic form is truth. Truth liberates us (sets you free). Truth is fact and fact doesn’t change. Knowledge is the experience of knowing the truth about something. (If you are patient you will find that knowledge is knowing the truth about everything!) There are levels of illusion which hides or covers truth, but only for a while as everything is compelled to return to its source. Source is supreme knowledge and is the energy (power) within.

Knowledge provides a level of energy that enables and allows the manifestation of amazing things.  When you know something, you are sure! You may not be aware of how you know it but you do and when you know, you act. Knowledge is empowering; as is understanding and mastery.

Knowledge is the cure for ignorance. For example, consider the phrase “Presentation is everything!”  This phrase refers to many products that are sold.  I have to agree that presentation is everything when it comes to selling a product or idea. Unfortunately, some of the beautiful packages that arrive in the store (or even on your plate!) are not worth the human or animal sacrifices that made the pretty package (presentation) possible.

“Food” comes to mind.  Without knowledge, we are eating things that we would not, were we more informed.

Diamonds and gold also come to my mind.  I have heard so many stories of people suffering to mine the product.  It is my knowledge of that suffering that makes them very unattractive to me and not worth purchasing.  I cannot see any value in such rocks and minerals.

I do love and admire creativity!  So when someone makes something like imitations (diamonds, fake fur or even imitation foods), I am amazed and impressed. Still I have to be mindful. I don’t have the knowledge of their process, I don’t know if it is chemically harmful to produce imitations.

Only knowledge can inform us whether or not something is truly good or not....true or false...

Be happy and be well.
