om·ni·pres·ent
ˌämnəˈpreznt/
adjective
present everywhere at the same time.
To be present everywhere at the same time. Now that is a very big concept. It is bigger than big! If omnipresent means that one consciousness is aware and active in all, then that would make the teaching: “love your neighbor as yourself” and “In as much as you have done it unto to the least of these, you have done it unto me.” understandable expressions.
The evidence for an omnipotent force is in the constant movement (energy) and expansion we experience and observe. This energy, movement and expansion is occurring both within us and in our seemingly external environment. Our environment seems external but everything comes to the external world from within. There is this osmosis type of relationship going on continuously from the unseen to the seen.
Movement of thought, movement of particles, movement of continuous expansion. Water moves continuously because of the life moving in it and the life force moving through its molecules. The wind blows us, but it is the life force of movement that brushes the molecules that we feel against our skin.
Omnipresent is to be eternally, fully aware of all infinite perceptions, thoughts, deeds, experiences, pain, fear, anger, confusion, helplessness, hopelessness, visions, beliefs, confidences, intentions, expressions, creations, impacts, outcomes, destructions, dissipations, and calm. To be present everywhere in the air, in space, in the trees, animals, in the water, the earth, in you and in me.
God is always stretching and we are wondering where does the body of this being end? How big is this being? It is omnipotent and when we are in our finite state we are unable to grasp it. That is precisely why we are always encouraged to meditate and sink into the consciousness of God. We are encouraged to sink into the awareness of the presence of the infinite so that we may feel and understand what omnipresent is.
Beginning steps for meditation. You can’t meditate if you have no clue of what it is. Meditation is the practice of remaining still enough for you (what we refer to as the soul or our spirit) to become aware of the deeper and more complex expressions of God. Remaining still includes your mind, body and emotions.
One way of thinking about meditation is “to fall into that state,” like falling asleep, only fall into the state of deeper awareness between being awake and sleeping. The experience can be like a cup of water falling into the ocean. In this analogy, the “cup” holding the water represents your body. Also in the analogy the cup gets carried away as the water within it spills into the greater body of water that is the ocean, but in reality your body remains where your consciousness or awareness left it. You won’t feel your body while meditating but you will be present and able to have a deeper experience of existence. As you grow in your practice your knowledge expands.
Eventually we all arrive at the place where we NEED to meditate! Here is a peak at what someone who has lived a fantastic life has settled into...
